The IDS series DIN Rail GE/10GE managed industrial ethernet switches are designed for medium to large network environments to strengthen network connections. The entire range offers unique features which will prove of huge benefit when implementing IP-based, integrated security systems.

The IDS series switches are DIN Rail type industrial managed switches. They are designed for highly critical applications such as real time IP video surveillance, WiMAX systems and Wireless APs. These switches support MSTP/RSTP/ Fi Ring with easy to set up user interface, which allows it to recover from network disconnection in less than 20ms with 250 switches connected in a ring network topology while transmitting/receiving data at full network speed. To optimize the industrial network environment, the switches support advanced network features, such as Tag VLAN, IGMP snooping, QoS, LACP, etc. The switches can be smartly configured through Web Browser, SNMP Telnet and RS232 local console. The failure notifications are sent through e-mail, SNMP trap, Local/Remote system log or multiple event alarm relay.

IDS Series switches can be restored and backup configuration through DCA-01 dongle device.
