Long Reach Power over Coax Series

Long Reach Power over Coax solution is designed to extend IP Ethernet transmission and inject power simultaneously into a remote ultra PoE compliant powered device (PD) beyond the 100 meters distance limit of Ethernet.

It is also an effective tool for powering Ethernet devices that need to be installed in areas where power is currently unavailable and would be difficult or costly to install. In such cases, power can be provided over existing cable, such as twisted-pair, coaxial cabling, UTP to simplify installation, save time, and eliminate the cost of new wiring. It provides multi applications for easy plug-n-play operation and deployment in various environments while keeping the installation of remote PoE PDs easier and more efficient.

Secondly there needs to be equal power sharing between subscribers. When multiple G.hn CPEs are connected to the DPU, each CPE needs to provide an equal amount of power to ensure one end-user doesn’t get loaded with the entire cost of powering the device.

This solution delivers rate up to gigabit and 30W over existing cable, with coaxial for distance up to 600m (1,968ft.) while aggregating throughput beyond 1Gbps@300m (1000ft.), and UTP cable or telephone wire for distance up to 600 meters (1,968ft.) with throughput beyond 1Gbps@250m (820ft.) over 2-pair lines and converts power to IEEE 802.3at/af PoE over another 100-meter Ethernet cable connected to the remote PoE PD.

CP-4202CX-P is a CPE(Customer Premise Equipment) of Long Reach Power over Coax Series, it provides 1 * G.hn port (F connector), as PoC Extractor, and 2 * 10/100/1000BaseT RJ45 Ports with IEEE802.3at (30W) output.
